For care, treatment, education, training, development and rehabilitation of children in need of care and protection. It established on January 1, 1981 and its intake capacity is 150 at present.
Functions as a community based facility for children in need of residential support, on short term basis, with the objective of protecting them from abuse and keeping them away from a life on the streets. It established on April 1, 2013 and intake capacity of the shelter is 25.
Recognized by the State Government to promote legal adoption and non-institutional care for rehabilitation of orphan, abandoned and surrendered children.
Technical education and livelihood support to the children who are leaving the Child Care Institute on completion of 18 years of age for their reintegration into the mainstream of the society.
